Meridia (sibutramine) is an appetite suppressant that can be taken by people suffering from obesity and trying to lose weight without too much success. Meridia should be combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise, as otherwise it is not going to be as efficient. Make sure you never combine this drug with any other prescription or over-the-counter products that have been reported to cause interference, such as high blood pressure meds, clarithromycin, cancer chemotherapy medications, anticoagulants, cough and cold medicines, antifungals, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, isoniazid, sulfa antibiotics, danazol, erythromycin, HIV protease inhibitors, migraine headache drugs, medications for allergies, or any caffeine-containing products.
